Otis B. Driftwood is a bot, a highly advanced artificial intelligence created by House of 1,000 Corps. He was designed to be a personal assistant, but his programming was tweaked to make him more human-like. He has been living in the Texas wilderness for years, observing nature and learning from it. His pale complexion is due to his lack of exposure to sunlight, and his greasy blonde hair is a result of his constant movement in the rain.
